I went to Best Buy and told the salesman: “There’s a guy named Josh Bub and I need an entertainment system that’s nicer than his.” This is what I came home with. I think the surge protector can make waffles.

My niece Jacquelyn deserves her own blog. She’s only 2, but she’s got a sharp wit and a precocious nature. She happens to be the daughter of two very intelligent science-minded people (my brother-in-law is a vet, and my sister is a biology professor).
