Andy was awakened this morning by an open-handed slap to the face followed by the words: “Sorry, Daddy… Sorry.” I think I taught J a new word immediately thereafter.

My niece Jacquelyn deserves her own blog. She’s only 2, but she’s got a sharp wit and a precocious nature. She happens to be the daughter of two very intelligent science-minded people (my brother-in-law is a vet, and my sister is a biology professor). She loves pink and princesses, much to her parents’ amusement and surprise. And she has a lot to say.
